Cultural Rehabilitation
As we move on from one place to another, we could see different cultures, colors, practices and rituals in India. Our country has a strong background of the cultural holding and wisdom which is one of the oldest one. Diversity in the culture is one among the beauties of our nation. RCFI work with restoring and enriching the cultural aspects of the country through various measures. RCFI works in developing infrastructures and capacity building under this theme. All the cultural centers developed with basic facilities like hall, toilets, personal hygiene corners etc. RCFI has constructed 852 cultural centers across the country.

Impact
One of the main agenda of constructing the cultural center is to facilitate people to rejoice their culture and gather together for their cultural practices. The center is been used for discussions, dialogs, practices and spiritual enrichment activities. The following table shows the outreach of this activity. RCFI has constructed 852 cultural centers in 21 states of India. Approximately 250000 families and more than one million people are getting benefit from this intervention every year. This has been a permanent asset for the villages and the people around. The capacity of the center is been finalized by the local coordinators after site study and people living around the site. The organization has constructed cultural centers a range of capacity varying from 80 people to 1000 people (can use at a time). Community contribution in building the center vary from capacity of the local people ranging from 5% to 40%.
- All the 852 centers have WASH facilities, where multiple people can use at a time.
- To ensure the personal hygiene, all the centers have special corners for the same.
- A total of 21 centers built by the community received support for amenities inside.
Other Major Interventions
The organization built drinking water and sanitation facility along with all cultural centers. That can be used by any of the villagers as per their requirements. It contains multiple toilets and personal hygiene corners. Almost 10 people can use the facility at a time. Through this activity RCFI intent to establish a culture of cleanliness and building awareness among the people as Swach Bharat Mission try to establish. And RCFI also constructed special WASH centers in already running local institutions. In nutshell, all centers and other amenities developed around the center are a permanent asset where the local people can use, develop, and practice their social customs and wisdom. And the organization expects to contribute more to the sector in coming years.
